My flawed idea of an arranged marriage When my parents forced me to meet a prospective groom and his family, I almost raged a war against them. But they told me if I had anyone in mind or in love with someone, they will be equally happy to meet him. Unfortunately, I was enjoying my status single and had no plans to settle down, at least for the next 5 years (I was just two years shy of turning 30).
